A B visa is a Thailand work visa that allows the holder to work for a Thai company or conduct business activities in Thailand. Here are the activities that are possible with a B visa for Thailand:

  • Working for a Thai company : If you are hired by a Thai company, you can work in Thailand under a B visa. This can include jobs such as teaching, sales, marketing, management, etc.
  • Starting a business in Thailand : If you plan to start your own business in Thailand, you can apply for a B visa to conduct business activities. This may include activities such as import and export, production, sale of products or services, etc.
  • Attend meetings and conferences : If you are invited to attend a meeting or conference in Thailand, you can apply for a B visa to enter the country and participate in these events.
  • Participate in training : If you are invited to provide training in Thailand, you can apply for a B visa to carry out these activities.

Documents to provide for a business or work visa in Thailand

To work in Thailand

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of departure from Thailand or residence permit If applicable
  • ID photo in color less than 6 months old
  • Traveler Selfie carrying the open passport next to his head
  • Visas from your previous trips over the last 12 months. If applicable, blank double page of the passport.
  • Declaration form duly completed and signed
  • Proof of address : nominative energy or telephone bill
  • Job promise of the company in Thailand accompanied by these documents concerning the company which receives:
    • ID of the person who provided the promise by adding the words “ certified copy of the original“, dated and signed
    • Employment Authorization Letter : WP3 form or letter of authorization issued by the Board of Investment (BOI)
    • Complete copy of the commercial register of the company less than a year old

To teach in Thailand

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of departure from Thailand or residence permit If applicable
  • ID photo in color less than 6 months old
  • Traveler Selfie carrying the open passport next to his head
  • Visas from your previous trips over the last 12 months. If applicable, blank double page of the passport.
  • Declaration form duly completed and signed
  • Proof of address : nominative energy or telephone bill
  • School contract in Thailand accompanied by these elements:
    • ID of the person signing the contract, accompanied by the words “ certified copy of the original“, dated and signed
    • Certificate filed with the Department of Education Thai, indicating the name of the traveler
    • Licence of the school establishment
  • Criminal record extract less than 3 months old
  • Proof of latest qualifications obtained, even international

To carry out a professional mission in Thailand

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of departure from Thailand or residence permit If applicable
  • ID photo in color less than 6 months old
  • Traveler Selfie carrying the open passport next to his head
  • Visas from your previous trips over the last 12 months. If applicable, blank double page of the passport.
  • Declaration form duly completed and signed
  • Proof of address : nominative energy or telephone bill
  • Invitation letter of the company in Thailand accompanied by these documents concerning the company receiving:
    • ID of the person who provided the letter by adding the words “ certified copy of the original“, dated and signed
    • Complete commercial register of the receiving company, dated less than one year
  • Mission order of the traveler indicating his position, the nature of the work and its duration
Employment contracts or missions lasting more than 6 months may entitle you to a B visa Multiples entries. You will need to tell us this when sending the documents.
