People who own <strong>a refugee title <\/strong>can in turn access one of the most popular countries in the world.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Discover useful information about this destination and its procedures for obtaining tourist visas.<\/p>\n<h2>What is a refugee title<\/h2>\n<p>Refugee status is mentioned in <strong>Article 1 A2 <\/strong>of the <strong>Geneva Convention. <\/strong>This is a universal law that applies to everyone involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any person threatened with persecution for their race, religion, nationality or social and political affiliation,<\/li>\n<li>individuals seeking protection who cannot return to their countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Like the Office<strong> French protection of refugees and stateless persons<\/strong> (OFPRA) in France, this status is recognized throughout the world.<\/p>\n<h2>Does a refugee document allow you to travel to Thailand?<\/h2>\n<p>Thailand is one of the countries accessible to refugees in possession of a valid residence permit.<\/p>\n<h3>The different types of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immithai.com\/en\/visas\/tourism\/\">tourist visas<\/a> to travel to Thailand<\/h3>\n<p>If you are travelling to Thailand for more than 60 days, you will need a valid passport and a number of supporting documents. This is not compulsory if your stay in Thailand does not exceed 2 months (60 days).<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the Thai authorities offer two types of tourist visas. The first is the <strong>TR Single visa<\/strong> which allows holidaymakers to enter the country only once, unlike a visa <strong>TR<\/strong> <strong>multiple<\/strong>, which allows multiple entries.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that both approaches are valid for a maximum period of<strong> 60 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To have a visa with a duration limited to 90 days, you would have to opt for another type of approval, namely a <strong>non-immigrant visa, B or ED<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As for seniors over<strong> 50 years<\/strong>, the Thai government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immithai.com\/en\/visas\/long-stay\/\">offers two types of tourist visas<\/a>. Visitors in this category will have the choice between a limited one-year visa or another which allows them to stay in the country for 5 years.<\/p>\n<h3>Documents to provide to obtain a visa for Thailand<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A residence permit for refugees<\/li>\n<li>A color ID photo<\/li>\n<li>A photo that shows the visa applicant&#039;s face next to the passport<\/li>\n<li>Proof of booking the plane ticket<\/li>\n<li>A bank receipt indicating a credit balance exceeding 1,500 euros or a recent pay slip<\/li>\n<li>Hotel reservation<\/li>\n<li>Proof of address<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the passport showing the stamp of your previous trips to Thailand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information on the supporting documents required, visit the official website of the Thai embassy in your country of residence.
