With just a few clicks on the official website, future visitors will now be able to apply at any time, making their travel experience smoother and more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1 January 2025, Thailand will roll out a new e-Visa system, making obtaining a visa more accessible and seamless for travellers from around the world. This innovation, announced by Thailand's Foreign Minister, promises to make travel formalities considerably easier, by allowing applicants to submit their applications online.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Thailand's landmark decision is part of a wider effort to modernise and simplify entry procedures. Thanks to e-Visa, a previously lengthy and bureaucratic visa application process will now take just a few clicks. Travellers wishing to discover Thailand's sunny beaches and culture will be able to apply online at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaievisa.go.th\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.thaievisa.go.th<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Simplified procedures for everyone<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The introduction of this system will not only benefit business travellers, but also tourists and students. Currently, the visa application process often involves long waits at embassies, accompanied by a multitude of documents. With e-Visa, applicants will be able to submit their information and pay their fees online, drastically reducing processing time.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Through this initiative, Thailand aims to attract even more visitors, while ensuring a smoother and more secure entry experience. In addition, tourism is an essential component of the Thai economy, and this initiative aims to encourage visitors from different countries to choose Thailand as their preferred destination.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who will need an e-Visa?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>That said, it is important to note that e-Visa is not for all travellers. Currently, nationals of 93 countries can benefit from visa-free travel for stays of up to 60 days, with the possibility of a 30-day extension on the spot. The e-Visa will therefore be particularly useful for people wishing to stay longer than 60 days or for those coming from countries that do not benefit from this exemption.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The nationalities involved are varied and include countries such as <strong>Germany, Australia, France, Canada and most European countries<\/strong>.
